Jesus is not Religion

I heard this young man explain the difference between Jesus and Religion. He nailed it! Really listen to this because if we are to be like Jesus then we should extend a hand of service instead of point a finger of judgement.

Matthew 7:5″…first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

  1. I saw this..i feel so strong about it that this is now my Motto also…jesus is my savior, Not my Religion. Religion has become a word that people can get offened by and when trying to minister to someone, it can become a barrier. This guy hit the Nail on the head! It frees us to step in closer with jesus and bring the whole relationship with HIM into a brighter light and to present HIM in a Real Way that many can see much clearer. Great food for thought in our walk with HIM!!! Thank you!!

    • Jesus is not Religion, He does not equate it nor did he preached it!!! Jesus is grace, forgiveness, passion, service, hope, and ABOVE ALL LOVE!!! Why is it that people are running from His stretched out arms at the cross? Because so many religions are preaching condemnation, judgement, fire and brimstone. JESUS PREACHED GOD AND LOVE, SOMEWHERE THE MESSAGE WAST LOST. Let us all make an effort to take back what the enemy has stolen and show the world that we are HIS image and LOVE!

  2. Reblogged this on undiscoveredgoddess and commented:
This is true. Jesus did not come here to start a new religion. If it is all religion then what did Christ do to that cross? All for nothing? He said it is DONE. By grace you will be saved, not by Works!

  3. Yes, I saw this some time ago & have watched it again and again. Love it, spread it!

  4. He nailed this!
