L.O.L. Live Out Loud

In Uncategorized on August 19, 2014 at 8:28 AM

Are you living out loud or are you simply living in a whisper? Living in a whisper is going through the motions in life afraid to be noticed. Afraid to do something to bring attention to you. Afraid of what others may say about you. What is life is you are not going to LIVE it? Remove the habits that stop you from having the life you were meant to live. Those things you do that keep you captive in a place of fear, anxiety, worry, doubt, complacency and the list goes on. Don’t live with these self-imposed limits/whispers. The whispers of worrying what will other people say. Listen to this…It is not what others say about you that threatens your destiny, your purpose, your opportunity to live…it is what you whisper about you that threatens the very fabric of your existence. Today is a gift, it’s a special gift called life, open it and use it up. Erma Bombeck said, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me’.”  This is what I mean by Living Out Loud, taking action and using up everything you have to offer yourself, family, church, community, town, city, state….

Living Out Loud means to have the courage to love yourself . It means living your life authentically and transparently. It means not taking your life for granted and accepting mediocre. It means changing your perspective of “what was,” “how it supposed to be,” and “how you want it to be.”  Living out loud means that you let go of those things that have kept you hiding. Let go of the shame, regrets, the its too late thoughts and let yourself be bold, loud and passionate. The way you perceive your life can in fact limits the opportunities that are waiting for you to enter into. For instance, you are looking for a job and you go into the interview whispering,  ” I need this job, I have to get it, I am desperate…” those thoughts are valid but they are also energy. The employer now sees you as a desperate person who needs them;  they are not going to hire a person that needs them, they are looking for the answer to their need. So you must change your perception of the situation. Enter into the interview as the answer to the employer’s need, exactly what they have been looking for…YOU and only you can fulfill this position and THEY NEED YOU!!! Living out loud is knowing who you are and whose you are!!!!

What do you see?

What do you see?

Have you ever stared at something and then something else begins to reveal itself? What do you see in the picture? Its there and has been there the whole time but what are you focusing on that you can’t see it? Really look at this and once you see it you will never not see it again! Now answer this: What if you stared at your life, really looked deep into the core of your being, what would you see in you?  Its there, in you! Now, what do others see in you that you don’t see in yourself? Living Out Loud means acknowledging your shortcomings and celebrating your strengths. Living out loud means broadcasting your needs, your likes and your dislikes as they relate to your fears and frustrations. It means that you let people know exactly who you are and expect them to be as thrilled as you are about who you are.

God has given you everything you need to fulfill your destiny, dreams and passions. Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Start today L.O.L:

  1. Live on purpose.
  2. Be authentic.
  3. Stop complaining
  4. Focus on your strengths, so that your weakness become insignificant.
  5. Stop waiting
  6. Live in the right here, right now.
  7. Learn to say no.
  8. Make your own decisions based on your perspective, not others.
  9. Honor your breath
  10. LIVE OUT LOUD!!!!
